I will very soon need volunteers to help take around a very short questionnaire about what the citizens of Rexburg want more: an outdoor aquatic park or a very simple indoor pool. I want honest, objective and realistic answers from all participants.
I need volunteers to take these questionnaires around their own neighborhoods and collect them the next day. I will pick them up from you and verify answers with the participants. Please leave a comment if you are willing to volunteer.
Please keep in mind that I only know my own opinion and the opinions of those with whom I have already spoken to. I AM ONLY TRYING TO ACCESS THE OPINIONS OF THE CITIZENS OF REXBURG. I WILL HONESTLY REPORT ALL ANSWERS I RECEIVE TO THE CITY COUNCIL.
Thank you!
Charlotte Erikson

Me me me! We will help!! Kayla will too, get all the bored high school kids in on this too!!
ReplyDeleteSome women in our neighborhood (Powell subdivision - south side of the hospital) were planning on organizing for the exact same reason. I've talked to one of the other women and she agrees we should join forces with you. I'm sure it'll be more effective to have one united group in the same effort.
ReplyDeleteI am the other woman that Leikenss' talked about. The are 4 or 5 of us that would be very interested in going through our neighborhoods. I would like to look at your survey before hand. Do you have a link to it? Thanks, Teralyn Young 360-0539
ReplyDeleteI have been involved with gathering information on the "pool" issue since 2000. During these past 10 years there have been countless numbers of surveys done by various groups and individuals trying to discover just what this community really wants. I applaud your interest and efforts to once again find out just what is wanted. If you would like to visit or are interested in what has been done I would be happy to share some thoughts with you and maybe even help you so that you don't reinvent the wheel...again. ReplyDeletemy name is jaci sanderson i live out in the salem area, i would be happy to help if you need it-my number is 356-5679
ReplyDeleteI would be happy to help with the survey. Its frustrating to see our local government do whatever they want despite the cost. If we plan for an enclosed pool, we can start with a simple rectangle design built outdoors, and later add an enclosure. Extras, like a lazy river, can be added later, when economic times are better. To start with this basic outdoor pool would cost 1 million, and certainly no more than 2 million. Just cut the frills
ReplyDeleteKeep it simple and keep it cheaper. We can add the extras and enclose it later.
